“When the voice and the vision on the inside become more profound and more clear and loud than the opinions on the outside, you’ve mastered your life.” – John Demartini
“I know it is hard to accept, but an upset in your life is beneficial, in that it tells you that you are off course in some way and you need to find your way back to your particular path of clarity once again.”
Eighty percent of success is showing up. ~Woody Allen
Remember hair crimping in the ’80’s? Think Madonna 1984. Well it is the hot new trend in spring hairstyles. You can use it lightly for slight fuzz or firmly for a more crisp kink. Some stylists are applying them all over the hair for maximum impact, but you can easily use it more discreetly just to add volume or structure to your hair. Crimping can be done on most hair types. It can add volume to fine hair or subdue curly hair. Depending on the length of your hair, it will take on average 45 minutes to crimp your hair. But the good news is it will last until your hair gets wet. You can use a dry shampoo to extend the life of this style. My favorite dry shampoo is Beyond The Zone Rock On Dry Shampoo which can be purchased at Sally Beauty stores. Check it out online at www.sallybeauty.com. After washing this style out of your hair I recommend using a moisturizing treatment to help your hair recover from so much heat. I am partial to Neutrogena’s Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. This can be purchased from ULTA stores, check it out online at www.ulta.com. It is very reasonably priced and it works just as good as the higher price products. Well let me get to crimping my hair and may all your days be good hair days!
