OK, my friends, its time for me to breakdown some of my thoughts on life…limits that seem set in concrete in our life, actually are only set in place by your own thoughts and words. So as the saying goes, wherever you go in life there you are. The words you use daily are powerful and will determine your journey through life. If you do not choose your words well, they can be your biggest downfall. So always remember you are in control of your path in life via your thoughts and actions. We chose the soundtrack of our lives. It is very important to choose the words we use wisely, especially when we talk to ourselves. When we talk to ourselves in a positive way, we will in return treat others in a positive way. Everything is set forth from inside of us.
One tool that has changed my life’s journey is affirmations. Affirmations are a great way to change negative patterns in your life. They help to train your brain to think in a more positive manner. The use of affirmations daily will change your whole attitude about life. They can be the pathway to guide you to all of your desires in life. Here is an example of one affirmation I have been using lately: I live today without a poverty mindset and I am grateful to live in abundance. Try writing this sentence 15 a days for a month and notice the changes in your life. Affirmations help form the words we can use to bring our good to us.
Another way to use words to bring your best life forward is to say out loud want you want from life. Start saying your dreams out loud, tell the world what you want from it. Do not let your dreams stay trapped in your mind. Set them free to the universe by speaking them out loud. Sometimes I say them just to the silence when no one is around and other times when I want to share them, I will tell a friend. Do not keep what you want locked inside. Let the world know what you are planning! By speaking your dreams you set them in action to come real.
Just as we must backup our laptops so we will not lose our data, remember to backup your new positive self talk with positive actions. Practicing random acts of kindness is a great what to express your positive outlook on life. Every person is a combination of strengths and weaknesses. So therefore your weaknesses are nothing to be ashamed of. For so many years I tried to hide from my weaknesses. Let’s bring our weaknesses out into the sunlight and embrace them. By taking this step we can stop the self defeating behavior of repeating the same mistakes over and over. Instead focus on making your strengths stronger. Let’s stay positive and grow our strengths.
As time passes and you begin implementing these techniques into your life you will notice significant changes. Take time to celebrate how far you have come in life and how much you have grown spiritually. Always remember, life is a journey and not a destination. God bless you and your spiritual path!
